Patriam Recuperare
The Patriam Recuperare resistance group was an anti-fascist resistance organisation active in Germany during the Second World War. It consisted mainly of young, politically committed people who opposed the Nazi regime. Their name, which means 'reclaim the fatherland', refers to their resistance to the Nazi state and their vision of a just and free society.
The group was active in various cities, but was unable to make a widespread impact as many of its members were caught and arrested by the Nazis. Despite persecution, Patriam Recuperare remains a symbol of courageous resistance to fascism and Nazi oppression.
